AQI2020

Three performers stand dramatically in an orange-hued box. There are—among other things—a yoga mat and a couple of camp chairs on the floor.

This event has been cancelled.

Performers endure four hours in a sulfur-hazed space, evoking the apocalyptic atmosphere of 2019–2020 Australian bushfire season. The title references the Air Quality Index: the international system for monitoring airborne pollutants, and a timely reminder—here, now, mid-pandemic—of the perils of climate change.

Unfortunately this event will no longer take place
