LAUN
A lone aerial artist performs—for eight precarious hours a day—atop a sculpted 2.4 tonne block of ice hanging high over the Gorge, as it slowly melts in the sun. It’s an urgent metaphor for the climate change crisis, say the artists, and accompanied by atmospheric sound works from Alaskan composer Matthew Burtner.
