LAUN
In the proscenium arch of a decommissioned theatre, Thomas recreates a famous YouTube clip of a cruise ship (barely) weathering a chaotic storm in the south Pacific. Set to a soundtrack composed to evoke tumbling objects and the rolling sea, the novel method of recreation examines our acceptance of mass-media imagery in lieu of actual experience.
